Frequently Asked Questions

How does the process work?

After the initial assessment, we will agree on a timeline and sign a contract. The contract defines the scope of work, products, deadline, and price. Once the contract is signed, you provide Sandhill Crane Consulting, LLC with copies of all materials required to complete the finished product(s).

What level of involvement do I have?

We welcome client involvement in the completion of contracted work.  Some clients provide suggestions on the direction the work should take, while others prefer to leave that to our discretion.  Most of our writing consulting services include at least one round of revisions, which allows us to ensure that the finished product is to your liking and specification.

Do you keep the materials (i.e., data) I provide?

No.  All materials are either returned to you or shredded/deleted.

Do you require authorship or acknowledgment?

No, we do not require it.

Are contracted projects confidential?

Yes. We fully understand and respect the need for discretion with unpublished work. We do not discuss clients or contracted projects with others, and publication titles are not mentioned on our website without client approval.

What is the best way to make initial contact about a potential project?

Please send all inquiries via email to: sandhillcraneconsulting@gmail.com.
